Our Journey

Batik Annesurya is a home-based batik clothing industry founded by Anne Surya, a mother of two daughters who initially created comfortable batik clothes and kebayas in bright colors so that her children could wear batik that suited their childhood spirits. At the beginning, photos of her children and batik products for kids were posted on her personal social media account, and it turned out that many friends became interested and started ordering batik clothing.

All of this work is carried put from home, utilizing digital marketing platforms, allowing it to be done while overseeing the growth of her children. Working together with local human resources, mainly women, from around Surabaya who, despite not having the chance for higher education, contribute to producing high-quality batik clothing.

By 2025, this business will be entering its 9th year and continues to thrive thanks to the love and tremendous support from fellow batik enthusiasts in Indonesia.

Our vision is for Indonesian batik to be cherished by the younger generation and known worldwide, ensuring that the culture and beauty of Indonesian batik remain vibrant for generations to come.
